Whats the greatest kungfu film ever made?

if anyone writes down "hero, crouching tiger etc etc" i aint gonna consider it!


im a big fan on gordon liu and the shaolin v's lama and shaolin v's wutang are great


i also like cheng long (jackie chan) and his drunken master films are great too (especially the one with the seven drunken gods)


but overall i would say snake in eagles shadow or shaolin challenges ninja.


but i stand to be corrected if i have missed a cracker

The above are all good, but I like revenge/avenging stories best - you can't just look at the action. I just put those down because they're the first that I thought of.

Reply:In My Opinion, Shaolin Soccer is a good kung fu movie it doesnt really make kung fu a primary thing but the way they use kung fu for soccer is a two thumbs up for me!!!

Reply:Way of the Dragon - best fight scenes in any film ever. The Bruce Lee v Chuck Norris fight in the colusseum at the end has to be seen to be believed.
Reply:Snake in Eagles Shadow is very good but I prefer Jet Li, I know he uses a lot of wire work which some people dont like but I think he is awesome at it.





My personal favourite is Twin Warriors: directed by Yuen Wo Ping, Michelle Yeoh is also in it.

My favourite has to be Twin Warriors, the choreography and humour make this one a definate must see!!!!

Reply:My 2 fav's wud hav to be Kung pow, i have watched it so many times its almost sad.. But like it was said above, most Jet Li movies are tops
