Should falsifier Rory Emerald apologize to the Shaolin kung fu monks for lying about a Japanese ninja affront?

I saw this news story as a Yahoo News headline, but it is hard to believe. After all, internet users have been doing the one-upsmanship between Kung Fu and Ninjutsu for years and years. Why would the Shaolin Temple suddenly get so upset about it? I looked up "Rory Emerald" and he is apparently a hoaxster from Michigan. I have yet to find any information tying him to the user name "Five Minutes Every Day." This sounds like a hoax to me.

Should falsifier Rory Emerald apologize to the Shaolin kung fu monks for lying about a Japanese ninja affront?
I think the folks at Shaolin should post their history including all the times the temple(s) were destoryed by who and why.

They could also post some unique articles saying that Ninja's came from china, not Japan...

That would be funny to see.

Regardless people believe what they want.
Reply:I do not think that he was lying, I think that his words were taken out of context. But to answer your question, yes, I think that he should apologize for the misunderstanding, because Rory is a beloved man in the Far East, and clearing up this misunderstanding will ensure that he remains so!

Excellent Question!!
Reply:What did he say?
