Shaolin monk and Navy Seal?

I'm wondering whether a Shaolin monk can easily pass al Navy Seal's physical trainings.

Shaolin monk and Navy Seal?
Yes. Their physical conditioning is incredible. All they do is

1) Eat %26amp; sleep (very little)

2) Train

%26amp;

3) Meditate.
Reply:Most physically healthy people are CAPABLE of becoming Navy SEALs. Just because someone can doesnt mean they will, and thats why there are not many Navy SEALs but tons of wannabes. Just being a monk doesnt mean you can cake walk your way through the training, thats rediculous. Report It

Reply:Yes, they will, they are very powerful they use nature has their sense of defence. Report It

Reply:**** yea i mean sure it dont look like they cod but they cood beat the **** outa unarmed navy seal dont get me wrong a navy seal is good but he crazy he has no balnce a sholin monk is at peace with his iner self its not who wins the fite but to him but how he wins with rage of with calm
Reply:a monk may be as fit as a navy seal, but his habit would get wet in the water impeding his strong swimming motions.
Reply:Probably could, they'd be in the perfect physical condition to surpass "hell week" Only problem would be the educational trianing, unless they spoke english, and were book smart. But as far as all the stayin underwater, and the push-ups and staying up for 4 days straight, oh yea, they'd whoop *** and laugh.
Reply:yes
Reply:They sleep standing up, sitting up, hang themselves for hours at a time to strengthen their neck.

Navy Seal's training would be a walk in the park.
Reply:NO! Navy Seal training is designed to push human body to maximum.

Shaolin monk are a simply human and nothing more! Everyone here want to believe in something amazing so they hope one day they could be a such bada55.
Reply:easily....the shaolin monk has trained for his entire life...the seal has not....the monk has also trained under more rigorous conditions that any military trainer would be allowd to put a soldier through...
Reply:That's a good question. I think they wouldn't do it easily, but they could do it. Not even 100% of Navy Seals pass the tests completely.

I'm not sure how much they run or swim, that might hurt them. But the mental aspect should give them an edge, they are accustomed to hardship.
Reply:This is an odd question.

The world will never know.

I would bet if the monk was instructed by his master to enter SEAL training he would not quit but I don't know if he would perform the tasks at the required levels.
Reply:It is possible, many of the conditioning techniques they use, I would believe are not all that dissimilar to SEAL training.

So yes I wouldn't put it past their realm of capabilities, that any Shaolin Monk could pass any one of the elite military training schools that we have in the world today.
Reply:Cant see why not
Reply:Yes.
Reply:Yes.

Discipline with ones own mind and body can accomplish any grueling activity.
Reply:it might be to rough for the guy, but im sure he would be in anough shape to do so

  1. Let me tell you what Shaolin training is. Most fully competent Shaolin monks were sent to the temple at the age of 3-4. Their trainers become their parents... and they put the younglings through corporal punishment (caning, beating, punches etc.) to discipline them to such a level that even the most revered fighters around the world would admire them. SEAL training is a test of mental capacity, as most recruits that enter the school are already at high (if not peak) physical capacity. And when it comes to self control and will power, no one in the world can surpass Shaolin monks. So yes, in summary, it would be something similar to a cake walk.
