Shaolin Kung Fu Fake?
Shaolin Kung Fu is not fake. Your asking is the SCHOOL IS FAKE.
looks legit too me go try it out but dont sign a contract
Reply:There's not enough material on the site to make any kind of judgment, but from the pictures of the place it looks good. (as in good room to train) it's always scary to trust multi-style teachers because they might only know a little of each art, but then you once in a while get a gem of teacher who is good at all five, six arts they know.
I'd say go there and watch them train and see how they train (sparring or no sparring) and how much they focus on forms (a lot of rep. on forms or focus on forms and application to the forms). If they spar a lot then it should be a good school to learn to fight, if they do a lot of applications from the forms it'll be good place to learn the style of kung-fu, and if it has both you'll be a good fighter while using the style of kung-fu. if it has neither, it'll be just a fun place to work out in. (that's a nice way of saying walk away)
Reply:There is no real info on teachers and styles.
Reply:Shaolin Mandarin name of early Buddhist temple where Bhodidarma teach new style to monks base upon animal movement, now 5 orthodox Shaolin animal styles, some unorthodox ones too. Shorin is Japanese Shaolin. Cantonese say Sil Lum. Shaolin mean Young or New Forest. Kung Fu mean Work Master wirth Strength add to Work symbol. An artist, cook, poet can achieve kung fu in his work. Proper Chinese term for Martial Arts is Wu Shu, it taught in China now. You not expert enough to judge yet if dojo is good or not. It difficult tell from website.
Reply:Just the ones in the movies because of the special effects. Go to the tournaments for the real stuff.
Reply:Go ahead try it out, you may be pleasantly suprised .I would not sign a contract ,that typically throws a red flag up.
Reply:There isn't enough information on their web page for me to tell. You will have to go in and check it out.
