...uhh... theres only one shaolin monk that has ever left China/ if you are being trained in shaolin the benefits would be harmony throughout the mind and body, increased athletics [jumping, agility, flexibility, striking], unparalled acrobatics/kicks [exce. ninjitsu mayb for acro] conditioned bones [shins knuckles arms forearms] different styles [tiger, swan etc.] unpredictability through vast amount of techniques





it takes a tremendous amount of time and dedication to vastly improve in shaolin because of the difficulty of the techniques, and the unmatched dedication [meditating for 2-4 hours a day] practising techniques hours at a time throughout the day. Short-term benefits would be felt immediately though, as you transfer into a strict lifestyle of constant body-conditioning/hardening, that is unlike any other martial art. You can't even be accepted into Shaolin [i dun think anyway] if you are too late into your teens because the gap is too far to make up.
